dashboard
Maxel Tracker
Time & activity monitoring · plus Intelligence module
A tracking dashboard: views, CRUD, MongoDB as the data grew, plus an AI summary module on top.
Maxel
Context
Maxel Tracker is employee time and activity monitoring (apps, websites, screenshots, productivity views). I worked on dashboard and tracking surfaces, not the entire commercial product. Maxel Intelligence sits inside Tracker: AI summaries and recommendations over tracked activity.
Problem
Ops needed charts and fast CRUD over a growing MongoDB set, then a way to turn that activity into readable summaries without another standalone app.
- —Aggregation cost as collections grew
- —Shared backend logic across tracking modules
- —AI summaries had to stay a module of Tracker, not a second product
What I worked on
- →Built dashboard UI, visualizations, and CRUD for tracking modules
- →Implemented backend logic for the dashboard and tracking APIs
- →Tuned MongoDB queries and aggregations as collections grew
- →Helped nest Intelligence: AI summaries/recommendations on tracked time and activity
Modules
Maxel Intelligence
AI summaries and recommendations on top of tracked time and activity. Same product as Tracker — not a second company or app.
Python · REST APIs · React
Architecture & approach
React dashboard, Node APIs, indexed MongoDB. Intelligence is a module on that same product: summaries over existing tracking data rather than a separate system.
Outcome
- ✓Operational tracking UI used day to day
- ✓Query work aimed at aggregation cost, not vanity latency numbers
- ✓Intelligence shipped as part of Tracker, not a parallel product
